Oftentimes, the price listed on a website will not include the service and/or delivery fees, which can be confusing and a little annoying!

BloomsyBox doesn’t have delivery charges! But there is a big but, you will need to sign up to their subscription service to not have delivery charges. 

In saying that BloomsyBox is top of the pops when it comes to flower subscriptions.

In short: delivery fees are included in your box of flowers but it does mean that there is a level of commitment as you will need to sign up to a plan to avail of free shipping. 

Florists.com

  • Starting price of flowers: $50.00 
  • Average cost of shipping: $14.99

Florists.com determines shipping and service delivery charges based on a number of factors like weight, peak demand, and location. 

Generally, Florists.com charge a flat rate $14.99 shipping and handling fee. Based on where you live they may also add taxes to orders. Peak charges for Valentine’s day, Mother’s day and Christmas may be different.

In short: The flower delivery charges will depend on a number of variables. While the average cost is $14.99, this may fluctuate depending on a number of variables.

FTD Top 100 Member Florist

  • Starting price of flowers: $40.00 
  • Average cost of shipping: $18.00 

The average starting price of flowers with Flowers Fast is $40.00 but the shipping cost is relatively expensive at $18.00.

A lot of flower and plant providers will determine delivery and shipping costs through weight and the distance that the flowers and plants need to cover. 

Flowers Fast have an easy to understand breakdown of standard shipping, same day, 2-day delivery and Saturday costs. Flowers cost $17.99 or over for standard, same day and Saturday shipping. Enjoy Flowers has cleverly cut out the middle man by utilizing a direct-to-consumer model which helps to cut prices while not forfeiting quality. 

In short: Enjoy Flowers is a great option if your flower delivery needs are limited to the United States. It is important to remember that Enjoy Flowers does not ship outside of the U.S.

Teleflora

  • Starting price of flowers: $40.00 
  • Average cost of shipping: $16.99

Teleflora doesn’t make it very easy to track down the shipping costs if you are taking a quick glance through the website! This is because the shipping costs are calculated at checkout. 

However, through some research it looks like the shipping costs range from $10-$20 with the average shipping cost sitting at the $16.99. 

There may also be additional service costs on holidays, however this is not clearly defined. 

In short: While Teleflora aren’t very explicit about shipping and delivery costs. It seems that it sits around the average mark.

Monthly Clubs

  • Starting price of flowers: $40.00 
  • Average cost of shipping: $14.00 (shipping and handling)

Monthly clubs offers a subscription on monthly flower deliveries. Customers can opt to have a professionally designed seasonal bouquet of top quality blooms and plants at a starting price of $14.00.

In short: Overnight Flowers is a contended in winning the award for “cheap flower delivery” as the bouquets themselves are reasonably priced, and you will never need to pay for shipping.

Plants.com offer free shipping on all orders over $75.00, a cost which would amount to approximately one-two plants. 

On orders under $75.00, customers may expect to pay $7.99 for standard shipping, $27.99-$37.99 for overnight shipping, or shipping on a Tuesday or Saturday. 

In short: Orders $75 and over ship for free, orders under $75 have a flat-rate shipping fee of $7.99 and express delivery will incur slightly higher delivery fees.

Ode à la Rose

  • Starting price of flowers and pants: $60
  • Average cost of shipping: $4.99-$24.99 depending on the size of the bouquet

The Ode à la Rose shipping costs depend on the size of the Bouquet and can be calculated at the check-out.
